Tater
Tater may be blind, but we have no doubt he can see with his heart! In 2022, scared and alone, eight-month-old Tater made the trip from our shelter partner in Tennessee to our no-kill campus on Long Island. We don’t know what his life was like before, but this little pup arrived to us so fearful and nervous around people. Fortunately, Tater’s profile and striking blue eyes captured the attention of the Connolly family, who were ready and willing to welcome a special needs pet into their lives. They nurtured Tater in his new home, where his special needs were never a burden, and now this courageous and confident dog is a valued and cherished member of a family, ready for playtime, runs, hikes, and new adventures.
